Spin the wheel
Type your options, spin the wheel and let chance decide. Up to 100 options, a history of results and the option to remove the winner.
How it works
How it works
Type the options, one per line (2 to 100; repeat one to give it more weight), and press Spin. The winner is picked before the wheel starts moving, with the browser’s cryptographic generator, so every option has exactly the same chance. The animation only takes the wheel there and slows down like a spring.
If “Reduce motion” is on in your system settings, the wheel does not spin: it jumps straight to the winner and the result is announced right away.
For draws
Turn on “Remove the winning option” to draw names without repeats, as in a raffle with several prizes. Below you see the last 10 results. The wheel has no seed on purpose: it has to be unpredictable. If you need a draw that can be repeated and checked, use the list shuffler or the team generator, which do have one.
FAQ
Is it really random?
Yes. The winner is picked before the spin with the browser’s cryptographic generator (crypto.getRandomValues), and every option has the same chance. The animation only takes the wheel there.
