Random picker and draw tools
Four tools for leaving a decision to chance without arguing over whether the draw was fair. The wheel takes up to a hundred options and can drop the winner after each spin, the team generator splits a list of people into balanced groups, and the shuffler puts a list in random order with a uniform algorithm, where every order is equally likely.
Use them to pick who presents at the team meeting, split a class into work groups or set the order of code reviews. The dice understand tabletop notation (3d6, 2d20+1, d100) and can also flip a coin. Most of them take a seed: the same seed gives the same result, so anyone can repeat the draw and check that nobody cheated.
All 4 tools
- Spin the wheelType your options, spin the wheel and let chance decide. Up to 100 options, a history of results and the option to remove the winner.
- Random list shufflerPaste a list, one item per line, and put it in random order with a uniform algorithm. With a seed, the order can be repeated and checked.
- Random team generatorSplit a list of people into random teams, by number of teams or by people per team, with balanced sizes and an optional seed.
- Online dice rollerRoll dice with tabletop notation (3d6, 2d20+1, d100) or flip a coin. See every die, the total and the history, with an optional seed.
